NEW TERRITORIAL MANAGEMENT PLAN
A PARK FOR EVERYONE, EVERYONE FOR THE PARK!
Take care of the Park’s fragile environment, mindful of the rules as a visitor.
WILD ANIMALS
Don’t catch or disturb them and only look at them from afar to prevent them running away
Don’t photograph nests with birds in or young mammals still in parental care
Do not give them food
FLOWERS, MUSHROOMS/FUNGI, ROCKS AND MINERALS
Do not collect or damage them
There is no need of souvenirs to retain good memories of the Park
CAMPING
You may only put up a tent at 2500 metres a.s.l. as an overnight bivouac shelter (from sunset to one hour after sunrise). The tent must not be erected more than 50 metres away from the marked trails
Camper vans and caravans: you may only camp outside the Park, in the permitted areas
Remember to not wash dishes in spring water or in still bodies of water
DOGS
Your dog may enter the Park, even in winter, only if on a leash and only if walking along the marked trails
If your dog runs away from you, you are required to notify the Park authorities immediately
FIRES
Never light fires in the open, it is very dangerous
WASTE
Do not drop litter and waste, even temporarily
Take all waste with you to the valley where a collection service is operative
TRAILS-hiking, skiing
Never leave the marked trails (yellow and black signs, annex 13 to the PGT-Territorial Regulatory Plan). This avoids generally disturbing the animals and damaging the vegetation underfoot
There are over 100km of marked trails: following them you can explore the entire Park without risking becoming lost
To reach the tops of Mont Avic, Mont Torretta, Bec Costazza and Roèse di Bantze you can exit the marked trails and follow the normal routes to these peaks (annex 26 to the PGT)
Even in winter, keep to the marked trails so as to not disturb the animals that are struggling with cold and hunger
When snow is on the ground you may leave the trails on foot wearing snowshoes or skis, but only in certain areas of the Park (annex 25 to the PGT)
VEHICLES AND AIRCRAFT
Tour the Park by walking or on skis or snowshoes
Motor vehicles, boats, hang gliders, paragliders or similar and drones may not be used
Mountain bikes and animals with saddles: only on authorised routes and always taking care of people walking (annex 26 to the PGT)
OFFENDERS WILL BE PUNISHED ACCORDING TO LAW
